What toys do you remember from when you were a kid?
I have a werebear. He is yellow and looks cute, but when there's a full moon he turns into a werebear with fangs and claws! I'm sure I got him for christmas in the early 80's. ;D

yeah toys! What were those toys called which had horns like the Psammead, but they were fluffy I'm sure they could turn inside out as well Or was it just the bottom half??? Well I had one Whatever they were. Apart from Carebears, my little pony, Rainbow Brite, I had the make up head! I think you can sill but them in the shops, looking at them now they are quite spooky just a head and shoulders. Then in my tom boy years I got Thundercats dolls and he-man!

I had a STYLOPHONE - unfortunately I never managed a decent tune a la Rolf Harris !
Also remember ACTION GIRL with hinged elbows, knees, wrists and ankles (hands and feet invariably broke off!) and I had a HAVOC (Secret Agent) Doll complete with catsuit and harthingy gun, oh and PIPPA and her friends - BRITT and MARIA, and I can't remember what the rest were called. SINDY, which was main UK doll at time.
Still got (round my Dad's) a lot of LEGO circa 1974, especially the Kitchen, Bathroom and Lounge room sets - now my daughters play with it.
Don't remember having loads of toys - my sister and I had more fun making dolls houses out of shoeboxes and the furniture from cotton reels and matchboxes - and dolls clothes out of the scraps in the fabric bag.
Although having said that I've still the dolls house my Dad made me when I was four (!). Guess I'm still a big kid at heart.

I had a She-ra figure and a couple of the Jem dolls - remember the tapes you got with them!!! we used to have wee concerts with them all the time!!
I also had the bendy rupert bear that someone mentions in the TV TAT section!
And like everyone else I knew i had tons of barbies and my little ponies! And flower fairies - remember them!!

The make-up head was called "Girls World when I was wee. I had one too. I bought one for my neice a couple of years back, but it wasn't the same quality!

I remember my first two wheel bike. It was a red tomahawk, sort of a mini chopper. My big bro had a raleigh grifter. Me and my mate used to play "CHiPs" when we were out on our bikes. Sad or what? lol ;D
