hi there! haven´t read this link for a while..but just had to write that I had a Big Yellow Teapot! Still do (it´s in the attic at my parents house even has the box!!! ) I treat it like as if ot was a sacred antique! I once had a similar thing to the yellow teapot but it was a chimney with a yellow squeaky nose and some small "soot" people. Can´t for the life of me remember the name of it..probably something really original like Mr. Chimney Pot ! ;D

I had a Chad Valley artists set complete with paints, pencils, glue and glitter. My mam used to go mad because everything and everyone would be covered in glitter for days. I also envied my brother who had most of the thunderbird models and a Tommy gun which shot plastic grenades (quite painfull if you got hit as I did on many occasions). I also had a make your own cosmetics set to beautify myself (I was about six at the time!) I remember the lotions smelt awful. A Scalextric track which we all argued over and had to be put away for our own safety and my mothers sanity.

..speaking of smelly potions..some "smart" person in my family decided to give me a "juniour chemistry set" (hmmm!!) I thought it was boring so just slapped all of the given chemicals in one big bowl..after about 5 minutes there was smoke and this horriffic stench..the entire house reeked for about 3 days!! and Mum couldn´t use her baking bowl again after that! it was no more chemistry sets for yours truly!...oops! Did anyone ever have any of that magic sand that went like plasticine under water and when you took the water away went back to being sand? Keep in touch guys! Becky.

Probably much more sensible in Australia than to allow kiddies to messd about with chemicals ;D belive me...the stench was bad...really bad!!! Sad as I am , I have recently purchased a little nit of nostalgia on ebay.co.uk! I have bought myself a little yellow popple! I always wanted one as a kid but never got one (poor me!) So I decided to get myself one and it´s sooooo cute! Why couldn´t somenone have bought me one of those instead of a chemistry set! I know, I´ll grow up one day...just not today! ;D toodles!

I'm going to be having fun buying a birthday present for my nephew tonight. He's turning 4 and is into ANYTHING Batman. My sister bought him a batman movie recently, made with Adam West as Batman (you know...from the old TV series - Kapow, Bam, etc), and he gets really upset with her if she laughs as it as "its SERIOUS Mum, Batman could get blowed up!" ...of course batman could get seriously hurt!!! (talk about cute!) I used to long to be catwoman in Batman..but now, me in a lycra cat suit...oooh! Nasty! (heh!heh!) Hey, does anyone remember small dolls that came out in the early nineties, I can´t remember who made them but they were called wee,wee babies or someting as they were basically just cute lookin rubber dolls with a hole in an"appropriate" place that when dipped and squidged in water, voilá! your doll peed like a fountain. They were dead cheap to about £2.00 each or something....my pal and I each got one ane went on wee wee baby attack occassionally....don´t ask...I know..sad huh!? Toodle pip! Becky
